The Theme of the auction is Mermaid from Warsaw in Poland. She is numbered 8. Her name is Sava . The statuette is completely made by my own hands with ProSculpt/Puppenfimo mixture. I do not use molds in the making of my statuettes . She has been sculpted over a wire armature , for extra strength .Baked in compliance with the recommendation of the Manufacturer. The statuette is 20 cm (about 8 inches ) in height. Her hair is from the hair of the sheep Island . Eyes of the siren are by hand painted. Eyes have a bronze- colour .She has also black and beautiful eye-lashes .The statuette is not secured to the base. One can put her and take out , because is joint by means tubes. The sword , the disk and the tail are made with Magic Sculpt. Meramaid I sculptured with great love .
Mermaid is a symbol of the city of Warsaw in Poland. This the country wherein I live.

całkowicie ręcznie z mieszanki Puppen Fimo oraz
ProSculpt. Figurka jest wyrzeźbiona na szkielecie z
drutu , co czyni ją mocniejszą. Wypieczona w
temperaturze zalecanej przez producenta mas
plastycznych. Wysokość figurki wynosi 20 cm.
Jej włosy są zrobione z futra Owcy Island , która
jest niezwykle delikatna i miękka w dotyku. Oczy są
ręcznie malowane i mają kolor brązowy . Ma też umocowane
czarne piękne rzęsy. Figurka syreny nie jest na stałe
przymocowana do podstawy. Można ją wkładać i wyjmować np.
na czas wysyłki ,bo jest połączona systemem rurek.
Tarcza i miecz oraz ogon są wykonane z masy o nazwie
Magic Sculpt , niezwykle silnej i twardej. Syrenka
zostanie bezpiecznie zapakowana i przesłana kurierem. Na

The legend about the Varsovian siren
Long ago long ago swam up from Atlantic on Baltic two sisters - sirens; beautiful women with fishtails, resident in depths of seas.
One from them fancied the rock in Danish straites and yet we can see her sitting on the scale at the entry to the port in Copenhagen.
Second swam until the great seaside- port Danzig, and afterwards with Vistula flowed upward of her run {course}. Probably just at the base of the today′s Old City she got over waters on the sandy bank, to have a rest, and that the place appealed her, she decided here to become {to remain}.
Soon fishermen noticed that somebody during their fishing agitated waves of Vistula, tangles nets {networks} and lets go fish from fish-pots. Because however the siren charmed with their {them} his own beautiful sing out, nothing her they did not make.
Once upon a time the rich dealer {buyer} saw the siren and heard her beautiful singing. Quickly he counted, how much will earn, if he will imprison the siren and will show her on fairs. With the ruse he seized the siren and imprisoned her in the wooden shed, without the access to water. Complaints of the siren heard the young rustic, the son of the fisherman and with the help of friends at night set free {released} her.
Emblem of Warsaw from the thankfulness for {behind} this that inhabitants stood in her defence {protection} she promised to them that if necessary they could also figure on her help. And the because Varsovian siren is armed - has the sword and a disk for the defence {the protection} of our city.
So much the legend. Not it is known from where the siren took in the coat of arms of Warsaw, at all events was {former} in him already into II to the half XVI in. Only that then the siren this was the monster with a trunk of the bird, arms, a tail of the fish and legs bird′s finished claws; probably mediaeval townies heard the tale about strange living monsters in oversea lands, and the tale about sirens especially to them appealed.
